Play with friends using an iOS device or Chess.org in any Internet browser!

Social Chess App

iOS Only (iPhone, iPad)

A. Download Social Chess (iOS) app

B. Enter

1. Your user name
2. Email address
3. Password

C. Press ‘Create Account’ button

D. Follow the prompts

1. Press ‘Allow’ notifications
2. Press OK

E. Click on ‘Settings’ icon

1. Scroll to the ‘Privacy’ section
  - Set ‘Share My Location’ to OFF
2. Scroll to the ‘Game’ section
  - Set ‘Board Sounds’ to ON
  - Set ‘Show Submit button (Slow)’ to OFF
  - Set ‘Show Submit button (Fast)’ to ON
  - Set ‘Accept Games’ to 1 or 2

depending on your preferences

F. Click on ‘Games’ icon to get back to the Home Screen

G. Click on the ☰ menu (in the top right corner)

1. Search for Player
  - Enter username of your friend and press Search on the keyboard
2. Press ‘Friend’ icon
3. Press ‘New game’ icon
4. Select ‘Slow’
5. Select ‘1’
6. Press ‘Submit’

Chess.org

Any device (computer, amazon fire tablet, android devices, chromebook, etc.) via an Internet Browser

Part 1.

Point your browser to https://chess.org/register
Enter desired username, password (twice) and email address
Verify that you're not a Robot (check reCaptcha box)
Press 'Register'
Check your email and click on the link to confirm your email (A confirmation email will be sent to the provided address)
It will open the Login window (enter your username and password)

Part 2.

Click 'Invite Friend' button
Select time (e.g. 30 minutes per side)
Press a button 'Create Game'
It will generate a URL link
Send the URL link via Email or WhatsApp
The 2nd play will need to copy and paste the link into their browser (and login if needed) to start the game
